Oak Harbor Cottages
The Oak Harbor Cottages are an emergency shelter that provide a safe, secure place for families experiencing homelessness in McPherson County, Kansas.
Brush Up MAC
Brush up Mac is a one-day event that brings volunteers to help low-income and senior homeowners with minor home repairs and yard cleanup. Homeowners who are physically or financially unable to make improvements to their homes benefit from this program. This event has been held since 2005.
Sutherland Estates
Sutherland Estates is McPherson Housing Coalition’s newest project in bringing affordable housing to McPherson. These units will be built just north of the Oak Harbor Cottages but unlike the cottages, will be permanent supportive housing. Stay tuned as this new and exciting project develops.
Affordable housing
We offer support to eligible families by helping cover various housing expenses, including deposits, monthly rent, and utilities. Our aim is to make housing more affordable and accessible, ensuring families can find and maintain a comfortable living space.
Mcpherson county housing conference
The McPherson County Housing Conference provides landlords, developers, builders, public officials, and the community with information on the local housing market, state and federal grants, and local resources. Through this conference, participants will have the opportunity to collaborate and find solutions for housing issues in McPherson County.
